My best holidays ever were on February of 2015, I went with a friend to go all over some places of the south of Chile. We took a bus to Puerto Montt, it was very tiresome because it took too many hours to get there, once we arrived there were nothing interesting to see near of us and since we were carrying too much weight we decided to move soon to Chiloé, because we'd planned to spend many days in this island. We took the transfer, it was interesting to see that the island wasn't far so it was very fast to get there. As a celebration of our arrival we went to a restaurant to eat some typical food ("curanto", some kind of potatoes that I can't recall its name) even though it is expected to be important to visit Chiloé because of its typical food I didn't liked. We were in several places of the east of Chiloé, urban places mostly so I didn't liked so much, I hoped to see more green and beautiful places so we moved to the west of Chiloé where the national parks are. We stayed in a wonderful camping called "camping la abuela" in Cucao, it was a very homy place in which we spent many days because it was a very relaxing place with many things to do, the own camping had a hill so you could wander around there, the lake of Cucao at 10 meters of your camping spot, you were surrounded by forest in all directions and lastly, the national park it was near of the camping. It is a wonderful place.
Adding up, we spent almost 10 days in Chiloé because our next place to visit was Puerto Aysén and then we had to take a ship in Puerto Chacabuco of Chiloé. I almost forget, we visited touristic cities as well, such as Castro but I got to say they were ugly if you think about the astonishing nature of the west of Chiloé. We spent almost other day travelling to Puerto Aysen, the journey was tiresome and some boring except for the view, once we left opened sea and we started to navigate near of the islands, these ones were as emeralds so the water was it like too. The ship had to take people and cargo from towns in the islands around the way, but there wasn't time to visit them so we only saw them from the ship. We stayed two days in Puerto Aysen, it was a very quiet place, and then we moved to Coyhaique, we stayed about 2 days to rest and then we went to camp to the Simpson River and after that to the national park Queulat in which we stayed about 3 days, they both were very awesome places, but Queulat was more touristic and beatiful because you had more to go over, more nature and wonders and camping there was more relaxing owe to its peace. These were my best holidays ever because I hadn't been to the south of Chile and in about 22 days I saw very outstanding places that I had ever seen.
